The YouTube owner, Google, is in primary discussions with some major television networks of the United States that may sum up with a step of charging viewers for watching advertisement-free television programs on YouTube — the largest and the most popular video sharing website on the planet.
Some reports from the United States say that viewers might need to pay around $1.99 to watch advertisement-free streaming of their favorite television program’s episodes online — on YouTube.
You will be able to watch full-length TV episodes without any advertisements.
TV program’s episodes will be available in full-length and free from advertisements on YouTube right after the day it is broadcast on TV. Apple is already in such a business which is available in iTunes store. By doing this, Google is putting itself into a direct competition with Apple.
YouTube has already been streaming some popular Television programs from Channel 4, but viewers need to wait during the advertisement breaks and watch the advertisements through. By paying the amount, viewers will be able to enjoy the show online without any advertisement.
If this charging method starts, the search giant and YouTube owner will be earning even more from its video sharing website.
What do you think?
There are always two or more points of every debate. At this moment, some people agree that this is a nice idea. Paying a little amount of money to get rid of advertisements is not that bad. Do you think the same way as we do?
